KD Shutters has a well established reputation for being a shutter expert in Kent.  We have expert technical knowledge and attention to detail when measuring and fitting.

We never contract out the fitting of your shutters, this will always be completed by one of our own experienced fitters.

For your peace of mind, at every stage of the manufacturing process our shutters are checked and double checked.  All materials and parts used are the very best quality to ensure we deliver high quality shutters time and time again.  Your shutters will be made for your unique window, all parts are handcrafted to your design and window measurements.   

At KD Shutters we pride ourselves on the standard of fitting and attention to detail, which is key to the quality finish of your shutters.  We only use our own experienced fitters, we never contract this out.

Shutters are expected to last 10 to 20 years, this makes them real value for money.  It does depend on what they are made of and how often they are used.  

Shutters are easy to maintain, very rarely a louvre mechanism may need adjusting with a screwdriver.  Accidental damage can be fixed by replacing louvres or panels.  

Our wood is responsibly sourced from reliable, known suppliers.  It is managed and controlled throughout it's manufacturing process.

After we have visited you at home to discuss your options and taken the measurements of your window or door we will send you a no obligation quote.  If you accept the quote we will ask for a deposit (usually 50% of the total price) and place your order with our factory.  

We will contact you to arrange the fitting.  We ask that existing window dressings are removed, including any existing blinds or curtains.  All furniture and items removed from the area so we have a clear safe space to work.

The balance is payable in full on the day of your fitting.

Shutters usually take 10 weeks to arrive from order date.  We will keep you updated with the progress of your order and arrange a fitting date as soon as we have confirmation of delivery.  

We have a 5 year warranty on shutters.  KD Shutters & Blinds Ltd are not liable for incidental or consequential damages; or for any expense arising from such damages.  Repair or replacement of similar product is the sole remedy under this warranty.  KD Shutters & Blinds Ltd will not be liable for costs for the remedy of defects to a product we have not fitted.

The warranty does not cover: fair wear and tear, unauthorised repairs, misuse, alterations, abuse or acts of God.
